H.A.R.T Method - Beyond Maya Abdominal Therapy

H.A.R.T. stands for Holistic Abdominal Relief Therapy.  This modality reaches beyond the techniques of traditional Maya Abdominal Therapy.  After studying for many years with a variety of teachers, Kimberly Hart integrated Maya Abdominal treatments with other specialized techniques to create the H.A.R.T Method.  Similar to Maya Abdominal Therapy, this work helps relieve and heal issues with digestion, IBS, GERD, Stomach tension, chronic constipation, urinary bladder, prostate, uterus alignment, menstrual pain, fertility, and back pain.  Often it also aids in emotional release and healing.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy can be simply for relaxation or involve deeper, therapeutic work. Techniques include Deep Tissue, Rehabilitative, Trigger Point, CranioSacral, Swedish, Sports Massage, Heat Therapy, Aromatherapy, and Assisted Stretching and Mobilization.  Massage helps to reduce chronic pain & stress, relieve headaches & back pain, improve circulation & lymph flow, boost immunity, relieve muscle & fascia tension, and help heal soft tissue injuries. Sessions are area specific or full body, with the client undressed to comfort level and safely draped with sheets.  Massage is excellent for improved health, positive mood, and better quality of life.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a light touch technique used to release restrictions in the head, neck and spine which allows for better flow of Cerebrospinal fluid that nourishes the brain and central nervous system.  This technique is useful for relieving chronic headaches, migraines, TMJ, tinnitus, chronic neck & back pain, central nervous system issues, fatigue, stess, tension, and sinus problems.

Shiatsu Therapy

The intent of Shiatsu Therapy is to asses and treat the root energetic cause of dis-harmony or illness, thus allowing your body, mind and spirit to come into balance and truly heal.  Shiatsu is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and includes work on the energetic meridians plus areas of muscular tension. Sessions are done fully clothed and are based on each client's needs.  Shiatsu helps manage a variety of issues, including stress, sleep, digestion, immunity, energy, fertility, circulation, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression and grief.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy has been used to move blood, detoxify and promote healing for thousands of years in various cultures.  Recently it became more popular as elite athletes began receiving cupping prior to competitions. Cupping can help treat many issues, including back pain, muscle spasms, pinched nerves, arthritis, fertility, digestion, blood disorders, circulation, and stress. Despite the round marks, clients report that cupping feels good as it draws out toxins and brings about deep healing. Moxibustion and GuaSha may compliment the treatment.

Reiki Energy Healing

Reiki is a form of energy healing that allows your body, mind and spirit to enter a state of deep relaxation, reduces stress, and activates your body's natural ability to heal.  It can help restore both emotional and physical health. Reiki originated in Japan and involves the "laying of hands" of the practitioner either slightly above or lightly on the body of the client.  Reiki and other similar forms of energy healing are often used in hospitals to assist patients to recover faster.

Spiritual Healing Session

Spiritual Healing is focused on the emotional and spiritual healing goals of the client and involves the use of a variety of ancient traditional indigenous healing techniques.  This type of healing is especially effective for working through old patterns and emotions that can keep your mind and body "stuck" in the past and clouded by depression, fear, grief or illness. Clearing these layers helps you move forward with greater hope in your heart and health in your body.
