Summer Hours 2022

Hello Wonderful Clients! It has been so nice to be back in the Adagio massage studio again. And wow, has it been busy! I am currently only working 2 days a week, so the schedule has been filling up fast. This is a good thing! It's nice to see so many people putting themselves first and really committing to self-care. It has been a stressful couple of years with the pandemic. Plus, this winter in Minnesota has been extra cold and long. I can't wait for the snow to melt. Soon...very soon (I hope)!

Some of you may know this, while some of you may not. In addition to massage therapy, I document severe weather. Yes, I am a storm chaser! Storms and photography have been 2 of my passions since I was very young. In my early years of chasing storms, I worked with FOX 9 and other networks as one of the "Twister Sisters". These days, I chase solo. I sell my video to new networks and my photographs as prints, calendars and NFTs. I also run private tours, where guests pay me to find them storms. And, I partner with Jen Walton to help facilitate the "Girls Who Chase (Storms)" initiative. Our mission is to empower and inspire girls & women to pursue the weather, the sciences and their passions. If you're interested, you can check out my work at and Why am I telling you all this? Because Spring is just around the corner, which means storm chasing season is also just around the corner! I never know how often I will end up on the road during the chase season. I am usually only gone for a day or 2 at a time. Sometimes I will be gone for 4 or 5 days, especially in May, which is peak season. Since the weather can not be accurately predicted more than 2 or 3 days ahead (even that is questionable!), my chasing schedule can not be planned well in advance. I do not chase every storm system that comes through, but I try to tackle the big days.

Since I need a little more flexibility with my schedule during the months of May and June, I am reducing my hours at the massage studio during those months. I am also taking some days off throughout July and August to visit and care for my mother.

As a result of my reduced hours during the summer months, I expect my schedule will fill up even faster. Please schedule well in advance. If you need to cancel or reschedule at a later time, that is perfectly fine. Also, if you are not able to find a time to get in, please send me an email or text and I may be able to fit you in. I may open up my schedule a bit more when the weather is slow. If you are on a Monthly Wellness Plan and would like to stop for the summer, you can easily cancel the plan at any time without a fee.

I will resume normal hours in September, and perhaps add a third day to my schedule if the studio space is available for additional hours.

If you are not able to find a time that meets your needs during the summer months, and would like to schedule a session with another massage therapist at Adagio, you can do so at the Adagio website:

Thank you for your flexibility! Enjoy the beautiful Minnesota summer!
